Launching a Community for Event Technicians

Event Technicians in the United States now have a new place to meet and collaborate with one another on a platform which doesn’t mine your personal data nor serves the ability to serve demographic targeted advertising to its user. Event technicians are the back bone to any successful live event production. They are responsible for a range of tasks ranging from lighting and set design to load in/out crew to highly skilled projectionists.


A Private Community is Formed

Since the time of when social media began, event technicians have been relying heavily on other public platforms to communicate with one another on a verity of topics. However, in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia Market, there is still a decent percentage of technicians who decided to not opt into using Social Media due to the lack of privacy. Privacy is regarded as a major concern in the modern world. From recent news publications, it appears privacy is something that has now become the tradeoff when engaging with any of the major platforms.

Finally a place where all the technicians can meet and discuss a variety of topics and not worry about their data being mined.
